The San Francisco Improv Festival is proud to present, in association with San Francisco’s original breeding ground for new performance The Marsh, “Street Stories” – two nights of solo performance from actor and founding member of “The Committee” Larry Hankin. We’re excited to finally have the opportunity to put this show up – Hankin is a living legend in these parts.  Larry Hankin’s Street Stories formed the basis of Hankin’s Oscar nominated short Solly’s Diner and was last performed in San Francisco in the 1990′s. Presenting Kim “Howard” Johnson’s ‘My Life with Python’

Monty Python historian/employee/collaborator/author and friend Kim “Howard” Johnson presents the history of his life with the members of Monty Python, with a particular emphasis on his weeks on the set of “Life of Brian” in Tunisia. From travels with Graham Chapman and years as John Cleese’s personal assistant, to producing Terry Jones’ 2011 tour,  Howard talks about life in the Python inner circle, and presents a plethora of Python pictures from the past four decades.
