BATS/Warp Speed

Through a genuine commitment to character and developing story, BATS Improv has earned an international reputation for creating theatre that is both hilarious and compelling. Starting with a title from the audience, BATS’ players create a sustained, single-story narrative, often running the same length as a scripted play.

Warp Speed, which they bring to the fest this year, is a salute to the classic Star Trek series. Instead of Kirk and Spock, all new characters, inspired by audience suggestions, are created and introduced on the spot. Prepare to boldly go where no story has gone before!
