Now in their 25th year, BATS Improv is San Francisco’s largest and longest-running Improv Theatre Company. Short-form improv is fast, furious and funny!  Audience suggestions and participation figure prominently in the show, so get ready to shout our your ideas or join us on stage for your 15 minutes of fame.  We promise, we’ll be gentle.

True Fiction Magazine continues to push the envelope of improvisation, exploring new and exciting styles of storytelling. A TFM performance is a full evening of spontaneous theatre, as the troupe takes titles suggested by the audience and creates stories which move forward and backward in time, interweave and intersect, until the final resolution.  Inspired by the pulp rags from the 30s’ and 40s’ any Tom, Dick or Harry will have a great time! Dr. God featuring Dave Holmes – following on their excellent pair of shows in 2011, the five players of Dr. God bring their fast-paced brand of funny, based off of audience suggestion and the stories of Dave Holmes (MTV, Reno 911! DVD on TV).

Chicken Scratch Improv is fast paced and sharp short-form improv.  Chicken Scratch combines classic and original games in their high energy, raucous shows.  These local improvisers have performed at the SF Improv Festival and Endgames in addition to their  sold out runs at such venues as Exit Theater, Ninth Street Independent Film Center, Purple Onion and The Dark Room. Five Play Improv is the popular East Bay long-form improv group that has been captivating audiences around the Bay Area since 2009.  Five Play Improv’s show format consists of a fully improvised story inspired by an audience suggestion.

Mortified “After Dark”- Featuring Mortified’s dirtiest, raunchiest pieces ever! With guest house band- The improv comedy/freestyle rap sensation:  THE FREEZE! Selling out shows for 6 1/2 yrs Mortified is the largest and longest-running project of its kind. Rami Margron and Cassidy Brown present The Shout. The Shout is a storytelling series combining invited, prepared storytellers with on-the-spot inspiration. Hosts Rami Margron and Cassidy Brown present a variety of ace storytellers from all walks of life to entertain, educate, enlighten, and edify.
