If you’re not taking public transit or Lyft – or not up for street parking in the neighborhood – here are the options:
Reserve Discounted Parking:
We’re experimenting with reserving parking in advance with SpotHero, a parking reservation service that connects drivers to discounted (up to 50%) nearby parking lots & garages.
Meters: Up to you, but we recommend garage parking. Meters enforced before 6 pm, Monday-Saturday Lots: Several lots are within two to four blocks. Garage Parking: **BE SURE TO CHECK GARAGE HOURS BEFORE PARKING.**
If you’re feeling adventurous and/or thrifty, experience SF apartment living with HomeAway.com.
The SF Improv Festival has no formal arrangement or affiliation with them – we just find them a great option!
Transportation is BART>Powell Street Station and walk up Cyril Magnin (street 5th turns into on north side of Market) and turn left onto Eddy. Walk two blocks down, pass the Exit Theater and turn left when you get to Taylor. The theater will be on the left hand side of the street about a third of the block down.
Ah, yes – our new venue has food! Tasty, straightforward bar food (burgers, sandwiches, salads) for a reasonable price. Remarkably, 4+ stars on Yelp and Tripadvisor!

Farmer Brown is just up Mason Street from Market (or around a corner or two from Pianofight) and features a West Coast, sustainable and incredibly tasty version of Southern soul food, and a truly excellent bar. It’s located on the ground floor of Hotel Metropolis.
