Chinese Ballroom is a a mix of playwrights, stand-ups, actors and most of all, total weirdos.
Born on a shivery summer night five years ago, in a basement-level dance studio accented by asian decor & comprised of alums of Awkward Silence (the nationally-renowned college improv team), Chinese Ballroom has performed long and short-form improv all over the Bay Area. We’ve played sold out shows at San Francisco’s Phoenix Theatre, corporate events, and at a karaoke bar we’re pretty sure was a front for organized crime…
