2012 SFIF Workshops
Instructor: Dave Park
Are you ready to take your improv game to the next level? Ready to add another ball to the complex juggling game that improv can be? Then “Exploring the Narrative” is the right workshop for you.
Whether it’s genre-based or not, we will go after making the story work in a series of exercises designed to get every member of the ensemble on the same page narratively, without losing improv fundamentals or standard gameplay. Through this workshop your shows will become more clear and satisfying from a story-telling standpoint for both the players and audience.
David Park is a graduate of Colgate University in upstate New York where he performed in the improv group Charred Goosebeak. After graduation, he worked in New York and then Mexico and finally settled in Los Angeles, California.
