Lauren Baumbauer

Lauren Baumbauer, based in Southern California, is a performer, director, teacher, and producer with a passion for improvised theater, especially narrative. She’s a founding member of Modjeska Unscripted Theatre, a graduate of the Frantic Assembly Directors Program, a voice actor for Cue Footsteps, a member of various local and international improv groups, director and co-director of dozens of original improvised plays, and an international teacher and corporate instructor. Experienced in different styles of improv, movement, and theater, Lauren has created original formats and courses with unique approaches using intelligent deep-dives, attention to detail, and energetic approaches in embodied improv that is connected and alive.
