The Women of SHREW

Jenny Flack has been improvising, directing, and teaching improv for about 20 years. In addition to performing with Shrew, she created, directs and performs in the improvised space adventure, Mission: Star Mission. She’s a company member at Theater of NOTE in Los Angeles where she’s earned several Los Angeles theater nominations and recently performed at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Fest.

Gale Brennan grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains and lived in San Francisco where she studied acting at ACT. She did a lot of theater before discovering improv and co-creating the popular Bay Area sketch/improv troupe Mumblypeg. In Los Angeles she played with CSzLA, and the sketch/improv show Older Girls Gone Reasonably Wild. Gale hosted a Nickelodeon Live Game Show Natl tour and performed with Shakespeare Santa Barbara. Currently she performs with the Lab Company at Impro Theater in Hollywood and she teaches acting and improv in Disney’s Performing Arts program and public classes at the Impro Studio.
