We hail from The Second City, Hollywood. We headline showcases all over Los Angeles, CA, and have been proud invitees of the Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco Improv Festivals.
The 10 performers that are ‘Bootsy’ have lived, worked, and studied all across the country. Our style of improv reflects the circumstances under which we met: serendipitous, unexpected, and diverse.
In the words of our namesake: “The secret to walking on water is knowing where the rocks are.”
‘Bootsy Collins’ is Long-Form improvisation for the black, white, gay, straight, gentile, jew, hippie, heathen, east, west, and other. “Women be shoppin’… We gotta save something for a surprise.” And we do.
