Sketch Writing for TV Boot Camp with 30 Rock’s Kay Cannon – Tix on Sale!!
It’s finally happening – tickets are on sale!!
The San Francisco Improv Festival is ecstatic to bring to the Bay Area one of the funniest women in comedy today – 30 Rock’s Kay Cannon!!
Kay will be leading a two-day boot camp for writing sketch for TV – condensing a week’s experience of a TV comedy writer into one weekend. She will bring boot-campers through the intense, hard and super-fun work process writers on shows like SNL and 30 Rock go through every week.
Participants bring in ideas to pitch and end up working on at least one of the ideas selected from the class for a final run-through at the end of the workshop.
The workshop is at CounterPULSE and pricing is $225 for general admission. This includes two four hour sessions, admission to a talk Kay will be giving at a venue in SF that weekend. Coffee, water and snacks will be provided for attendees.
A limited number of student tickets are available through the festival for $175 – please request a student code by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your school affiliation.
