Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU! We did it. We are so grateful to everyone who performed, taught, took classes, or just came to see shows. You let us know that we made the right call when we chose to resurrect the festival. Seeing all of the smiling faces, hearing the laughter, and being gifted with so many “thank you”s from friends and strangers alike… it was overwhelming. There were tears, not gonna lie. WEDNESDAY 8/12 The Opening Party / Community Gathering Starting at 7:00 PM, the whole improv community is welcome to our opening night shindig at festival venue Silk Road Bar, running until 10:00 PM. Catch up with old friends and make new ones! From 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM Will Luera will facilitate Special Socialization Fun Times, open to all. We spent the weekend converting Silk Road Bar’s back room into a black box theater for this week’s festivities. Everyone is excited about what’s coming, and we wanted to take a moment to invite you to come hang out with everyone on Wednesday night as we celebrate the Festival’s return, our glorious Improv community, the performers coming from near and far to make us smile, and YOU, our friends who come to watch it all.
